Welcome! I'm thrilled you're here. I would like to invite you to learn a little bit more about me as you explore my work, skills and professional experience. I believe I am a go-getter, as you will hopefully pick up on, and strive for perfection. I tend to immerse myself in my work and profession, while also remembering to take time for self care, family, and friends. GET TO KNOW ME
While in school at Western Kentucky University, I was able to complete a couple solo projects as well as travel to Panama with Global Brigades, which you can learn more about below in my past experience. I am proud of the work I have accomplished as well as the cherished relationships that have blossomed throughout my educational and professional journeys. My dad always told me that I could achieve anything I wanted to as long as I put my mind to it which is why hard work and achieving my goals are so important to me. PAST EXPERIENCE
Past Roles
September 2018 - December 2019
SURGICAL DENTAL ASSISTANT, BOWLING GREEN INSTITUTE FOR PERIODONTICS AND IMPLANT DENTISTRY
I assisted Dr. Donley in his periodontal and implant surgeries by handing him the required dental instruments and suctioning out the patient's saliva. I also cleaned and sterilized all dental instruments. I took X-rays of patient's teeth, restocked and reordered necessary items, and scheduled appointments for patients.
December 2018 - March 2020
WKU ADMISSIONS STUDENT WORKER
I worked in the Topper Orientation Program office at WKU. I answered phone calls from students and parents who had questions about admissions as well as registered students for orientation. This role allowed me to develop my customer service and interpersonal skills and communication.
January 2019 - August 2019
GLOBAL BRIGADES MEMBER
I traveled to Darien, Panama with the WKU chapter of Global Brigades to provide medical, dental, and optometry care to the rural communities of Darien. By the end of the trip, I accumulated over 20 hours of shadowing and hands-on experience in the Dental field.

EFFECTS OF GFP WHEN FUSED TO THE ALPHA-MYOSIN HEAVY CHAIN PROMOTER IN THE SKELETAL MUSCLES OF ZEBRAFISH.
Question:
Will GFP, which is fused to the α-myosin heavy chain promoter in zebrafish, cause a similar impairment of actin-myosin interactions in skeletal muscle as was shown in cardiac muscle?
Hypothesis:
When GFP is fused to the α-myosin heavy chain promoter in skeletal muscles of zebrafish, then actin-myosin interactions will be impaired and skeletal function will be altered/affected.
